A fine-art portrait commission is a work of art that captures the personality and spirit of the sitter and serves as a timeless treasure for generations to come.
There are many reasons why someone would commission a portrait. Parents seeking to capture and preserve a moment in their child's life; A husband who wants to symbolize the love of his life; a wife who wants to honor their husband; family and friends looking to memorialize the life of a departed loved one. These portraits are outward signs of love.
A commissioned portrait can also be a symbol of a legacy - a life well-led with courage, dignity, and devotion. Corporate portraits of founders, CEOs, business leaders in general are popular. Institutions and fraternities use portraits to pay homage to important leaders, including past presidents and donors. Official government portraits are popular, honoring political leaders and honorees of valor.
Whatever your dream for commissioning a portrait, Gerard Bianco can help you make that dream a reality.
